Rob went above and beyond in moving my son and his wife from East London to Edinburgh... in the teeth of Storm Dennis, even picking up a stranded daughter in law from Northampton station en route. These guys worked tirelessly moving a reasonable sized 3 bedroomed house to a smaller 2 bed bungalow, we have some... rather large pieces of furniture, and they made it seem effortless..Never ever before has moving been anywhere close to fun, (It's the 2nd most stressful event of our lives) but they were chilled, hard working and great fun in what should have been a rather stressful and horrid experience..Cannot recommend enough..Also, please treat these guys to lots of tea and biscuits, they all take the same, tea, two sugars, lol more than earned, and even these were consumed on the move! I phoned Going Places and spoke with Daniel who arranged an appointment to come to our property to assess the amount of... work required to move us for 16:00 on Friday 6th July. Unfortunately noone showed up or contacted me to let me know any arrangements had been changed. Really impressed! I had them booked in for Sunday, they rang me to tell me a few guys had gone sick so his schedule... was ruined and he would be late. Initially I was annoyed, but that changed when they turned up! They did so much, I hardly had to do a thing and what's more because of the inconvenience they did the whole move for free! If you choose us to pack for you, you are in safe hands. Over the years our trained packing staff have gently wrapped countless sentimental and fragile items. If you have asked us to unpack, we will put everything where you want it and take away all the packaging to be recycled.
Office relocation
Moving to new business premises can be a real challenge. Well planned and executed removals keeps loss of productivity to a minimum without over stressing your hardworking staff.
We will work closely with you to plan and realise your transition in a time frame that works for your business. On the day (or night) of the move, your office furniture will arrive on time and importantly your IT equipment will be in one piece.
